When can I bring my puppy home?

Puppies can go home around eight weeks of age. We will not accommodate requests to ship your puppy or allow you to pick up your puppy before the appropriate date.

How do I transport my puppy?

We have a couple of different ways you can get your puppy safely:

Pick up in person. We welcome visitors, but a pickup appointment must be made and approved before coming. If arriving by car, please research how to travel with your puppy . If you prefer to fly, we recommend flying into either Billings or Bozeman Airports. Please check with age and size restrictions with your airline before travel.

Flight Nanny. If you do not have the time or the desire to fly in a cabin with your puppy, you can hire a puppy flight nanny. This is the most expensive way for your puppy to travel, but it comes with the added assurance that someone is watching over your new family member with the same care and concern you would if you could come yourself. There are weight and height restrictions to fly with a canine in the cabin so please keep in mind this option might not be available to you.

Are you a puppy mill?

At Arrow Ridge Bernese, we are passionate about dogs and fully recognize the immense positive impact they have in people’s lives. Our dedicated commitment is towards breeding and strengthening the breed, as well as finding them caring homes.

Unlike puppy mills, notorious for their merciless, profit-oriented practices that involve keeping dogs in inhumane conditions, we invest in enhancing the quality of life of every puppy and adult dog in our care. We believe every dog deserves a fulfilling life, regardless of how short a time we are privileged to share with them.

Are Your Puppies Microchipped?

Upon request! It is an additional $50. The microchip is placed near the neck area. However, it’s necessary to know that the microchip is not registered by default. To register the microchip, you’ll need to provide your name and address details either online or through your vet. We suggest contacting your vet or local animal control to learn about the most frequently used pet recovery microchip systems and to register your puppy’s chip with the recommended database. If your locality requires your dog to be licensed, you can register the microchip online along with your registration. Before leaving the kennel, all puppies are scanned to match their microchip numbers with their paperwork.
